Joanna Szybist has 15 years of top-notch experience of analytical research and complex project management in the areas of international TV and digital markets, first as an analyst with The WIT, then till 2012 as the head of sales and business development of Eurodata TV, a global TV and new media research leader specialised in innovative, tailor-made market insight reports, business intelligence, expertise and research solutions across over 100 countries. Among her bigger client accounts were all American studios.
Since 2013 she has been working on her own account as a freelance consultant in the creative industries sector and as an executive producer. She has acquired a solid practice of mentoring projects and tackling digital related production working for the French cluster of TV and cinema industries Pôle Media Grand Paris and consulting Sunny Side of the Doc/Sunny Lab and Power to the Pixel. In 2015 she cofounded with Marc Guidoni, Komintern, a production company committed to independent cinema and TV production, and is currently developing several international co-productions.
