The Creative Europe MEDIA MIPCOM Umbrella Stand that we operate on behalf of the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency of the European Commission* was at P4.B1. Participants on the the stand were from Creative Europe MEDIA participating countries and were required to meet eligibility criteria implicit in the questions on the application form.
What is the Creative Europe MEDIA umbrella stand?.
European independent producers and their distributors at international film and audiovisual markets who accredit to be on the Creative Europe MEDIA Umbrella Stand are generally eligible for special rates for MIPCOM and MIPJunior. You first apply to be on the Stand, including answering questions which will enable Creative Europe MEDIA to confirm your eligibility, and then register with Reed Midem.
The benefits of being a stand participant include a range of added-value services, including an advisory service, workshops, buyer's briefings and the stand facilities at no extra charge. Stand facilities include dedicated wi-fi, a coffee bar, and meeting rooms.
What are the special rates?
Early bird : €690 until September 6.
Regular fee: €755 from September 7.NEW: There is no €500 MIPCOM first timer registration fee anymore.
Please note that the deadline to be listed in the Official MIPCOM Guide is September 13.
Seller Pack (1 seller visitor + 3 programmes + 1 project): €835.
Non buyer/seller accreditation (without programme): €775.
The deadline to be listed in the Official MIPjunior Guide is September 6.
Am I eligible?
During the sign-up process, you are asked to provide information about how you meet the eligibility criteria.
Accreditation is open to independent European producers or distributors, i.e. those established in Europe and offering European content (see below for the definition of European content).
During the sign-up process you are asked for an affirmation that you meet this and the other criteria.
Once you have signed up, we submit your application to Creative Europe MEDIA to check that you meet the criteria and that there is still space left. We aim to let you know within a week at most whether you have been accepted.
