The Creative Europe MEDIA MIPCOM Umbrella Stand that we operate on behalf of the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency of the European Commission* is at P4.B1. Participants on the the stand are from Creative Europe MEDIA participating countries and are  required to meet eligibility criteria implicit in the questions on the application form.

Registration is closed. All places have gone. If you have already registered, you can upload your line up here. It will be incorporated in our online catalogue as long as it is uploaded ten days before the event.

You can register for the advisory service hereEach participant can submit one request related to their MIPCOM line-up (finished projects as well as projects in development). Based on the information we receive from you, our team of experts will offer guidance during MIPCOM in one-on-one private meetings. This information in the strictest confidence. What is the Creative Europe MEDIA umbrella stand?.

European independent producers and their distributors at international film and audiovisual markets who accredit to be on the Creative Europe MEDIA Umbrella Stand are generally eligible for special rates for MIPCOM and MIPJunior. You first apply to be on the Stand, including answering questions which will enable Creative Europe MEDIA to confirm your eligibility, and then register with Reed Midem.

The benefits of being a stand participant include a range of added-value services, including an advisory service, workshops, buyer's briefings and the stand facilities at no extra charge. Stand facilities include dedicated wi-fi, a coffee bar, and meeting rooms. 

What are the special rates?

MIPCOM 2017

Early bird : €690 until September 6.

Regular fee: €755 from September 7.NEW: There is no €500 MIPCOM first timer registration fee anymore.

Please note that the deadline to be listed in the Official MIPCOM Guide is September 13.

MIPJUNIOR

October 14-15

Seller Pack (1 seller visitor + 3 programmes + 1 project): €835.

Non buyer/seller accreditation (without programme): €775.

The deadline to be listed in the Official MIPjunior Guide is September 6.

Am I eligible?

During the sign-up process, you are asked to provide information about how you meet the eligibility criteria.

Accreditation is open to independent European producers or distributors, i.e. those established in Europe and offering European content (see below for the definition of European content).

During the sign-up process you are asked for an affirmation that you meet this and the other criteria.

Once you have signed up, we submit your application to Creative Europe MEDIA to check that you meet the criteria and that there is still space left. We aim to let you know within a week at most whether you have been accepted.

EUROPEAN CONTENT

To be considered to have European content, any work of fiction [including an animated film] or documentary, be it a completed production, a project or a format, must comply with the following conditions:

  • - the majority of the work has been or is to be produced by companies established in one or more countries participating in Creative Europe MEDIA, and
  • - there is a significant involvement of professionals who are citizens or residents of the countries participating in Creative Europe MEDIA.
  • The following programming is not eligible:
  • live recordings, TV games, talk shows, reality shows or educational, teaching and ‘how-to’ programmes;
  • documentaries promoting tourism, "making-of" reports, animal reportages, news programmes and "docu-soaps";
  • projects promoting, directly or indirectly, messages that are at odds with the policies of the European Union - for example, projects that may be contrary to the interests of public health (alcohol, tobacco, drugs), respect for human rights, people's security, freedom of expression etc.;
  • projects promoting violence and/or racism and/or with a pornographic content;
  • works of a promotional nature;
  • institutional productions to promote a specific organisation or its activities.
