Ione has been attending international TV markets and film festivals for more than 20 years. Formerly head of sales for ETB (Basque Public TV), Venevision Europe, and director of the MEDIA Antenna of the Basque Country, in 1995 she founded and became managing director of the TV distribution company Ione Communications. In 2000, she created Paseo Films, its acquisitions, consultancy and training arm.
As a distribution expert for media-stands.eu, Franz helps producers arrive at a proper assessment of the value of their assets, ideas or formats in order to draw up the appropriate distribution strategy. He provides an insider view on what TV buyers and international distributors are really looking for. Franz also moderates many of the buyers’ briefings.
Marc spent 15 years in high level jobs in international groups (TF1, TDF, Orange), where he developed a taste and skills for pluri-competence and multi-cultural environments before founding his own independent production and distribution company. Marc is also a consultant in cultural industries, digital and media for a wide range of clients. He is vice-president of Marseille Web Fest, International Festival of Digital Series.
Joanna Szybist is an idependent producer and consultant with 15 years of experience in international TV and digital market research acquired while she was the sales director of Eurodata TV. She also has solid experience mentoring projects and tackling digital related productions for the French cluster of TV and cinema industries Pôle Media Grand Paris, Sunny Side of the Doc/Sunny Lab and Power to the Pixel. She recently co-founded Komintern, a production company committed to digital storytelling. Elegy, her first 30’ VR fiction drama, was curated by Biennale Cinema College and presented at Mostra of Venice 2018.
Pauline Mazenod is the founder and CEO of Windrose, which specialises in the international distribution of documentaries and performances, as well as being its head of Film Acquisitions and Sales. She lives between Paris, France, where Windrose has its head office, and Fürth, Bavaria, Germany, where her team is based. She holds degrees in political science, music, and a master in international culture management, and an MBA. She has 20 years’ international experience in the cultural, audiovisual and cinema sector in political and operational functions. She has extensive experience teaching in French master programmes and European professional training schemes and also acts as a consultant.
Since 1994, Guy Knafo has devoted himself to “audio-visual distribution”, the international trade of audio-visual productions throughout the world. In 1995, he created the distribution company 10 Francs and successfully grew it into a 1700 titles strong catalogue trusted by nearly 300 producers around the world.
Passionate about databases, in 2005, he designed the Pro-VOD streaming site 10 Francs (with protected access for buyers and full access to 1,000 titles).
