As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Marché du Film de Cannes will  take place on  23 June 2020. A decision on next steps will be announced by the organisers later. In light of these circumstances, we are still accepting pre-registrations, however we will respond to these requests when a final decision has been made.

The Marché du Film, organised alongside the Cannes Film Festival, describes itself as the most important global meeting place for film professionals and one of the largest film markets in the world. For 51 years, the Marché has attracted participants from all over the world, offering them the opportunity to network, buy and sell film rights and discover thousands of films and projects. Over the years, the Marché has evolved and continues to adapt to meet the needs of a rapidly changing film industry. The Marché boasts an average of 12,000 participants annually, giving them visibility and fostering exchange with a wide range of services including exhibition spaces, meetings and screenings.

MEDIA hosts more than 250 audiovisual professionals in a pavilion in the International Village with tables for meetings, dedicated wi-fi, a programme of events, a free coffee bar and the opportunity to meet MEDIA staff.
