The Martin-Gropius-Bau is open from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. each day from Thursday, February 9 to Thursday, February 16, and from 9 a.m.- 1 p.m. on Friday, February 17.
The Creative Europe MEDIA umbrella stand closes at 7 p.m. except on Friday, February 17 when the stand closes at 1 p.m. Please clear all your materials from the stand by that time.
Please check with our staff on-site whether there are any security restrictions on taking materials out of the building.
The Martin-Gropius-Bau (MGB) is the hub of the European Film Market. Further stands and offices are located on the first and second floors of the Marriott Hotel on the Potsdamer Platz.
MGB - Marriott - Sony Center
A regular shuttle service connects all EFM venues. There is one shuttle approx. every 10 minutes. This service is available during the opening hours of the market. You can find the EFM shuttle route on the EFM Map. There are 3 stops: MGB – Marriott Hotel – Sony Center / Filmhaus / CinemaxX (Potsdamer Str.)
Zoo Palast Shuttle
A special shuttle service will be provided for the route to the EFM screening facilities at Zoo Palast (at Zoologischer Garten station). Please note that this shuttle is only in service for EFM screenings (not for Festival screenings) as well as the Drama Series Days events and only runs from Friday, Feb 10, till Wednesday, Feb 15. The stop for the Zoo Palast Shuttle is next to the Gropius Mirror Restaurant on Niederkirchnerstraße (opposite the MGB) and at the Marriott respectively. Each of the stops is served independently. The shuttle busses leave each stop 20 minutes before the screening/ event starts. A daily schedule with departure times will be available at each stop and at info stations at the MGB and Marriott. The shuttle from the Zoo Palast back to the other stops will go constantly.
Tickets for screenings
You can obtain tickets upon presentation of your accreditation at ticket counters designated for your accreditation group. The office that issues your badge can tell you where these counters can be found.
Several Berlinale publications provide information about the Festival programme and there is also information: www.berlinale.de/en/
To ensure the security of everybody, suitcases, large bags and rucksacks are not permitted in Berlinale venues.There is a possibility to drop off such items in cloakrooms outside of the Martin-Gropius-Bau (2 others will be installed around Potsdamer Platz). However, there is no guarantee that such items of luggage will be accepted. For security reasons, smaller bags and rucksacks brought into the venues will be searched.

Upon arrival in Berlin, first pick up your badge and delegate bag.

Creative Europe MEDIA stand registration
From 9 a.m. on February 9,
– You will be given a registration form to return together with your business card. You will then be given your ec.europa.eu/media lanyard which will identify you as a participant, having access to all services and facilities.
– Ask for the password for wi-fi access. Please do not share it with others.
